APPLICATION TIPS

A few tips on applying

From application to job

Don’t include a cover letter if it is not specifically requested. Simply send us your CV, certificates and references – we’ll take care of the rest. Please remember to provide the following information:

  • Address
  • Contact details (phone number and e-mail address)
  • Reference to the job advertisement and the source
  • Attachments (CV, certificates and references)

Your CV

Structure your curriculum vitae in sections and arrange them according to headings:title and personal data

  • Ideally a photograph
  • The desired position
  • Career to date
  • Education (higher education, vocational training, school)
  • Special skills

Start with your current employment if you already have work experience. We recommend an ascending chronological sequence for those starting out on their careers. Specify all periods as accurately as possible and explain any gaps (for example, seeking employment, family reasons). Check that the dates in your certificates and supporting documents match your CV.

Feel free to download this Word template for your CV.

The job interview

Read the job advertisement and the information about our client carefully beforehand.

First impressions count a great deal in job interviews, so be sure to choose clothes that are appropriate for the type of job you are applying for.

Special points relating to an online job interview

Special points relating to an online job interview

Start up your computer in good time and check your Internet connection. Then test the microphone, loudspeaker and camera. Make sure you have the telephone number and e-mail address of your contact person to hand in case you encounter a technical fault or other problem.

Please make sure to check what is behind you or use a neutral background image.

We wish you every success!
